the gearbox is the notchiest ive ever used...but it always found its gear and stayed there, yours sounds a bit iffy
i cant suggest what might be the problem, im no expert on gearbox internals, just hope its not expensive to resolve ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

Its very important to check the tension of the chain, too tight and the 'box is notchy too loose and all sorts of strange gremlins can occur.

Both mine where simular! 1st - 2nd is the worst of anybike I have ridden!
however after a full service and fully synth it was smooth as hell. That was until I changed the rearsets and messed up the shaft changer postion!
Try checking that, as if it lose the shift wont move as well as it should!! ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/
