Got a licence label for 7? That'll be a factor for some.

Privately I'd be aiming for 200 to 300ish depending on how patient you are. Walk into a place like mine and you'll probably get ~£120 to £170 depending on the licence and condition.

Towers are a fairly slow market at the moment but new prices are rather high to boot.

No licence, Activated and service packs installed though.

Click your link, check completed listings and look at the two CPUs that have sold recently, note that both were new, one retail, one oem. 1156 CPUs are a hard sell now.

That then leaves you with some low value stuff that'll sell pretty easy (Ram/HDD), some low value stuff that'll sell eventually (GPU/Case/Monitors/Speakers/Posh Keyboard) and some stuff that is a bit of a pita to shift (Mobo/Printer/PSU/Optical).

If the machine had more current desirable components I'd be inclined to agree with you, but as is it doesn't. PCs are generally a horrible investment. I've got a fair bit of experience buying/refurbing/selling this kind of gear Smile
