I used the big one last time www.hpicheck.com think it's £39.95. I did a search on google when I was looking and some of them seemed well dodgy.

If I remember right, there's some sort of guarantee protection thing with the one above. Something like if you buy a real ringer after because they have provided inaccurate information then you are covered up to £10,000. Might work, probably be some kind of get out clause though, but it's better than nothing.

I'd go for that one too, theyre immediate with the report and follow up with a certificate in the post.

The £10K gaurantee is if their info is incorrect, so if their HPi says its not stolen and it turns out it is then you're covered. But the chances of an HPi check being wrong are very small so it's not really an issue.
