I need to get the spokes sorted on the six, and am wondering what colour you think I should do them?

I would say, go for gold. But it looks a bit boy racer. So I voted bronze. Gold, gold, always believe in your soul........ Laughing

What's wrong with making it silver like the rest of the wheel? That'd look the best if you ask me.

I think blue looks the best dude. Coloured looks well cool! Where’s the fun in keeping the bike standard with black wheels eh? Confused

Most people seem to think blue so far Smile I like how you’ve used Photoshop to preview colours!

Hope it helps you make up your mind! Very Happy

lol, well of course the fun is in riding the bike, but customising your bike is something to do when your not riding it! Laughing

I bet if 2 bikes of the same model were parked next to each other, one customised, not over the top, just little bits that make it different from the rest, and one without, the customised one would stand out more. Thumbs Up

And besides it makes it yours, not just a factory standard bike!
Of course some people don’t like it but, everyone's different! Very Happy

As you say, each to their own. But I don't really see the point of customising your bike for purely asthetic reasons.

Also if you think about it, imagine you've just over taken a copper at speed and your on a stock blue R6 and pull up to a bike meet.
Copper comes along, Doh! there are dozens of blue R6's. Laughing

Thats like saying "If I painted an apple purple it would stand out from all of the other apples!" Bit obvious really! Laughing

Stu, If you are going to go for it, I would say blue definitely. The gold and bronze are a bit boy racer for my tastes! Smile

Very Happy Hmm purple apples! Kind of cool: D see you’re point mate, was a stupid thing to say, not what i was trying to get at Confused

But yea, like the others said, if you want to go for it then do!!! Blue is the colour to go for. Thumbs Up
But like Danny said stock bikes have advantages like the ability to merge in with other stock bikes for cop evasion!

Its up to you dude: D

I do find it funny that people are more than happy to slate 'suped' up Nova's and their drivers, but seem to think it is perfectly acceptable to put 'tarts' accessories on a bike.. why not stick some spoilers on it while you are at it?! Laughing

Each to their own, however I agree it's to hypocritical to critisise car modifiers and then carry out similar modifications to your bike.

I as a youngster did the Nova and PUG 205 thing (how I loved that Pug)

I have brought a bike with a few trick bit's on, and I know I will want to add a few more things top personalise it to my style / preference.

it's good to go to a meet and see 4/5 bike the same model/year but all with their own little differences.
and it's good to talk about them.

obviously some have performance gains (my cans) but my reason for liking them mainly was style, I have no idea what performance gains I have from the exhausts, although i should get it tuned to ensure it is running right for them, as I don't know if it was done when they were fitted.

Just my bit...

Swaffs.

Oh, no choice for chrome?

Yes and if you believed I was saying that as a serious note then you have something to worry about. :|And just to note, i didn’t say anything about car modifications! So will people stop thinking I did! I have 4 friends with modified cars each of which i helped with! Just so happens I got a bike until next year!
