See, this is why I don't buy new bikes.......that and I can't afford them.
Lucky Yamaha mechanics get to ride all the new R1's. |

hahaha,
Getting a new bike is kinda good, in the sense that you can become accustomed to the bike's characteristics if your upgrading, when running it in.
I'm surprised that engine hasn't been tested on a dyno or bench tested before they installed it....
Looks like Yamaha has a problem within their production line(s). |

Well, thats made my decision. If I was going to buy a japanese 2004 litre bike, its the blade all the way!
Maybe I'll go for one of those quirky european makes...
Triumph Maybe?
Just goes to show you can have too much power! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |
