Hello to all

I been ligering around for a couple of weeks now and I thought it time to join up and say hello.

So hello

I'm Andy
I'm 28 years young
I ride a yellow R6 2003
I live in Nuneaton
And I am short.

Well i'm new to biking so I have a lot to learn and there is no better place than a forum. I spend most of my time at work on the net so hopefully I will be poping in on a regular basis.

Well thats me about done.

There's quite a lack of height to live up (well, down) to around here. Laughing

Welcome. Thumbs Up

Edit...
Dammit, beaten by Mark. Well, I suppose my reaction times are slower cos the signals have further to travel. Razz

Ah at last some good company. Would be nice to go to a meet and not feel like a dawf.

On a good day 5'5 on a normal day 5'4 ish. I've seen a lot of smaller riders but sitting on the R6 with one tip toe on the road tell me i'm short.

But what the hell you live once and you only get one shot so enjoy.

Regards

Well I'm five foot five as well and I ride a Triumph Daytona 955, not exactly the most ideal bike for short people!

Welcome to the forum! Thumbs Up

Welcome to you both.
I felt unsure buying the CBR6 with my 5 ft 6 (and a half) because I could only just get both tip toes down.

I'm glad to hear the little people are in good numbers.

Tis a pain when you are all ready to stop on the left leg and something makes you alter balance and go over to the right. It is a awkward moment and a silly looking one.

But who cares I'm having fun and that whats it's all about and if it was unsafe a would not have got my licence.

Anyway it is a nice place you peeps have here and it would to nice to meet you all at some time. Will prob. be the midland peeps first as hopefully I will be attending Bassets Pole on a tuesday and maybe the Waterman as well.

regards

Andy

May not sound much but at that speed its a lot of distance!!! Now all I need to some one to get some footage of it all! Mr. Green

Hello

The Waterman is a pub on A452 just past Basall common. nice sweeping roads on the way. From Tamworth go down past Draton Manor up to the A446 through Coleslhill carry on down over the M6 roundabout. Down to stonbridge island and straight over that on to the A452 to Basall common. past Basall common there is a funny junction follow it to the right on to the A4177. Next roundabout take the first exit staying on the A4177 and about three miles from there on a nice sweeping left its on the right. Used to be a really big meet on par with Bassets pole but the cops put paid to that. It is now though getting back to its old self.

Anyway the boss ( The Misses) is calling so gotta go. Will be back on tomorrow morning so if you are interested about its exact location i will sort then.

regards
Andy
