Hiya all,

As some of you may be aware I am looking to change my bike sometime this summer. Now ideally I would like to see the summer through on my beasty little R6 but I am worried that it may have too many miles on the clock already to sell, let alone at the end of the summer.

Its currently got 25K and will probably be around the 30K mark by the end of the summer.

Is this realistically going to be a real sting when it comes to selling the bike? I don't really want to see too much of a drop in return on the 3.5K I paid for it. Its in fab nick and goes like poo off a shovel, me likes it a lot, but am a little worried about whether it is "high miles".

Cheers for any comments.
Cougs. Smile

Well as long as it's properly looked after and regularly services then 30k miles is bugger all, especially for a yamaha. My mates fzr1000 has gone off the clock twice (I think, it's gone off it at least once) and he barely has any trouble with it.

But from a selling point of view I can't see it being too much of a problem as long as you state that it's been regularly serviced etc etc.
