When my mate turned up in this car tonight I had to say I was impressed. Cool

Unfortunatly due to dodgy camera phone and fading light the pics arn't that good.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

That's so cool! But since it's a Beatle I don't think you can class it as a proper car, so you get away with it! Very Happy

If I ever get forced onto four wheels it'll either be on one of them, a big VW van (which of course I'll strip out so I can park the bike in the back.. Cool ) or a classic car!

If any car has ever needed black tinted windows, it's definatly that car. I wouldn't want to be seen driving that.

Didn't Hitlet pen the Beatle?

Nice set of wheels... Tinted windows would look good, but not to hide behind.

Hitler's bunch penned the VW company, the beetle came along but their main stay at first was metal box crates on wheels.

Beetles rock (especially when you get in Laughing )

Hitler demanded cheap transport for the masses I believe. The Beetle was a cheap construction design allowing costs to be kept low, so I guess he did sort of have a hand in it's creation Very Happy

Have I got that right? Was crap at history anyway Razz

Speaking of war mongering car designers, when's George W Bush going to pen his own motor?

I believe Hitler used the car as a propaganda tool more than anything.

He not only demanded cheap transport, but he was also personally involved in the styling.

All the best

I believe that Ferrari used the VW Beetle chassis for the Dino, but I stand to be corrected.

You stand to be corrected. Ferrari did not touch the Beetle chassis. Porsche started out making cars based on it, but Ferrari wanted to make decent cars rather than just squashed Beetles.

The Dino engine was also used in a Fiat (the Fiat Dino, with great originality), but that is also a sports car.

All the best
