Hi

Think Kev had one, but not quite standard.

Basically they had a reputation for fairly frightening handling.

All the best

A mate of mine used to have a blue and white one a few years back, can't remember what year now though but I'm fairly sure it was one of the later models.

I didn't ride it, didn't have a full license at the time, but I remember comments about the blistering performance and a stonking engine.

They were supposed to have fairly unbustable engines but as Keith said they were supposed to be a real handful around the twisties.

There's a link here to MCN with a bit more info.

Hi

Friend had one of these and quite liked it. However general opinion of people was that they FJ1200 was a better bike. They had 16" wheels which did not really suit such a large bike, build quality is OK but not great, and whose bright idea was it to put an electric window on a bike?

All the best

Keith

Very good solid engine taken from the gsxr1100 and still used in the 1200 bandit. it was the latest air cooled gixer engine so its an 1127 engine so all you have to do is change the cams and carbs then you have a 130bhp bike.

I drive gsx1100f 1991 year.

big comftabel bike, strong engine, great in long curves, in short curves you'll need some special techink.

it's a oil- air cooled, 1127ccm, 100kW

great bike for a long and fast traveling.

sorry for bad spelling (from croatia)

I have had one for a short while. It handles ok but can be a handful in the wet and at low speeds. Thumbs Up

A friend of mine had a GSX1100F, the one with the 'lecky screen.

I did a few miles on the back, and wasn't really expecting much TBH.

How wrong I was, it pulled like a bloody train, and Frank, the guy who owned it, had no problems lobbing the thing around either.

My brother looked at buying it, and was very pleasantly surprised with the insurance. It was an old bike, but seemed to age very well. I would have one if I thought I had the self control to ride it properly. Wink
