i baught an old kx 125 a couple of month ago. the bikes in prity good condition for its year but ever since i got it ive had nothing but trouble. i bought it knowing that some engine work needed to be done, so i booked it straight into a machanic. he replaced the piston ring and barel and i also got new clutch plates in. after getin the bike back i took it out for the first time. i ran it for about 5 minuits untill the throtle just died out. after that it wouldnt start and left me standing in a path in the middle of no where. since then i took it back to the machanic, he told me today that the whole engine is guna have to be rebuild from top to bottom at a price of around £400. i got the bike for £500 which i thought was a bit of a bargain at the time. since then ive rode it once and spent over £250 on it. i cant afford to be paying another £400 on getin it repaired and its hardly guna be worth my while. i was hopeing that some1 might just have an old kx sitting in there garage which would be perfect for me to use for spares. let me know if u do i dont wana just give up on this bike and scrap it. or if any1 knows how to rebuild an engine for cheaper than £400 id be happy to pay. Sad Sad
