My tyres are in need of replacement shortly on my bike, and i'd like a tyres that will give me a lot of miles. As the ones fitted as standard have only given about 3000 miles. The ones fitted as standard are Bridgestone BT-014. Hope someone can suggest a tyre/s for me.

Lots of miles, Pilot Road 2s

BT014s are soft as fudge.

PR2 or 3 should be a fine bet, MrJoolz has over 10k on his PR2's currently.

My Daytona 600's going to get a set of BT023's when the current ones give up the go.

I'm a big fan of those, they're classed as 'sports touring' tyres but are good on road, wet and track and should last at least 6k on your bike.

Cdug on here got 10k miles out of his rear and it still refused to spin up in the wet in first gear on his cbr600f Laughing

Depends what type of riding you do though?

For something just sunny related you could go more sporty which will give you that bit more grip but if you use it for commuting I would go with the above Thumbs Up

And I've still got the front fitted, with nearly 15,000 miles on it.

Depends what kind of riding you do.

Roadsmarts get my vote.

I didn't ever like 014s. Wooden.

Do you want mileage or grip?

I have BT016's on my Speed Four and they are excellent, have to be really be naughty before they lose any grip.

I have Pirelli Angle ST's on my TDM, good Grip and excellent life.
