The gf had her cbt yesterday and as i expected she was shite, got a phone call an hour after dropping her off asking to come pick her up, i got there and she was upset because she was too worried about crashing so she couldn't even pull away on a moped.
chatted to her for a bit then went and spoke to the insturctor he said if i can get her to calm down a bit he will do some 1 on 1 work with her to get her going, there was also another girl there who had the same issue as my gf did so they did it together.
he started them off by making them ride at a super slow pace with there feet on the floor at about half a mile an hour for about 6 inches.
repeated and increased the distance untill they where both happily going round and round the L shaped circuit and negotiating mini roundabouts.
they where both told to come back at a later date for another hours 2 on 1 then they can do there cbt (no extra costs)
Never seen anyone tolerate so much before but i was impressed so thanks guys your doing well.

Good on them.
Does your gf actually want to ride a bike or scooter, or are you pressuring her into it?
If so, what else can you make her do?

have plenty of places we can legaly ride here, as i do a lot of shooting have plenty of fields she can use  i learnt to ride in one of the fields round here .
she told me and the instructor she felt put off because the other 2 lads where better than she was but once it was just her and the other girl she was fine.
semi competition to beat the other girl and vice versa gave her confidence to actualy ride.
the school where damn good about it though, so patient and tried many ways to get them riding.

Ouch, ive never done that althought late for a job interview other day i was doing 80 ish on the yellow lines to the roundabout on a private road before i started to brake only to find my front trye was a bit soggy, i thought i was going straight over it

for the school for being so patient, i'm sure some places would have just flopped her after the day and say to pay full whack again 
you could of come on yesterday as i was in faversham only down the road (kind of) shitty weather though.
