Is it just me or does anyone else think 0-60 times are utterly irrelevant for sports bikes (except for shutting car-bores up in the pub)
When you are dealing with between 2 and 3 seconds, it's all down to technique, surely?

anyway the yam is probably a little bit quicker

The yam is the quicker bike.

What's so amazing about 0-60 times then, you saying that if the Triumph has a quicker 0-60 than the much superior and nicer looking R6, that you'd go for the trumpet just because it gets to 60 faster? Or vice-versa.

Just a silly question to base buying a bike on in my opinion!

Dunno oif the link works but the specs are here:
https://www.motorbikes.be/en/compare/3429/3402/

If you just want a faster 600 go for the R6, most do, then you can sit and pose with the rest of them all parked up in a line looking so incredibly boring.
If you want a bike with some grunt that looks different and is actually nice go for the Daytona (Didn't it win the TT?).

Surely you'd be more interested in the 30-50 or 50-70 times as these are more likely to be of use. 0-60 is only used for tear arsing from the lights to get rid of a Nova or two ( Wink ) where as the other figures are used in daily commuting.
