...with a couple of mates.

A537 is an ok road, been there more than a few times and I've started to find it boring. Throw in a shit load of cyclists, cages, few HGVs with a sprinkling of "brake riding BMW bikers" and it soon becomes a boring ass mission.
But the A54 to Congleton is bloody awesome.
It was the 1st time I had been on it and it is epic.
Steep inclines and descents, humpbacks, fast corners, decent road surface, loads of overtaking spots.

Loved it.
I'm in agony now though, haven't spent that long on the bike in ages.
Time for a sofa nap.
Thumbs Up

Shame about the cameras over the tops and the horrendous surface going up the first hill from Bosley crossroads past the reservoir, the bit inbetween is spot on. Laughing

Have you tried the A5004 Buxton- Whaley bridge? Awesome road but because there's no cameras you might actually see a few coppers on it.

I was going from Buxton to Ashford today. Went and over took a lorry to come face to face with a scamera van Rolling Eyes .

Slammed on the anchors but I suspect I've been caught. Fucking dead straight road and a 50mph limit. Oh well.

Anyone know what range these things have?

When the b/f got snapped by a scamera van on the M6 near Tebay, the distance was 981 meters, according to the photo they let him download. Shocked

Why didn't you just overtake the lorry as you came level with the scamera, therefore blocking its view of your numberplate? Or stopping on the side of the road, getting off and taking your number plate off before you ride past?

Both are lullzy and result in not being caught.
