Hi All,

I've been riding for around a year now on a Honda Hornet (no drops or accidents touch wood!) and looking to go upto a GXSR600 as I really like the sitting position and in general the bike style compared to the hornet.

I've got my eyes on a 2003 model, 25,000 miles, vgc for around £2800. Any thoughts if this is a good price? It's at a secondhand dealership so was hoping to trade in the hornet if they offered a good price compared to what I had paid Thumbs Up

What year/condition/mileage etc is the hornet?

I'm after one myself currently.

That doesn't sound unreasonable. Although, I paid £2150 for a 2004 Daytona 600 with 12k miles earlier this year.

Might be worth looking at/ considering.

I'm selling my '02 K1 with 20500 miles in the comming weeks and was going to put it up for £1500-£1750.

Could do with a proper clean as i rode it throughout the winter but its sound other than that.

Maybe I should ask for a bit more!

Its probably about right for a dealership but you could easily save £600 but buying off eBay instead. I'd be looking to buy a GSXR-1000 K3 for that kind of money if it were me and they are certainly worth more than the 600. Smile
