Hi guys, my daughter has a 2T zip with a cat. The exhaust needs welding but I have a spare that has been de-catted.
My question is, can I remove the tube that goes up to near the carb from the exhaust? It might be a EGR system. If so do I need to blank anything off (other than the exhaust)? There is a pipe from this that goes to the exhaust and it goes to a plastic box (filter?) and then disappears down (to the cases?)

If the exhaust has been blanked off do I need to blank off the pipes and where?

The pipe to the cases? The exhaust has already.
