Hi guys (an gals)

I am looking to get a bike (duh!) my ideal is a naked 600 bandit.

reasons for this is that it is high (im 6'3) i like the style and i want to use it for commuting (45 mile round trip) and I know those 600 mills are good as my mates gsx600f goes on without bitching!

So anyways, I got upto £2000 but can't find any in my areas (wilshire) I am reluctant to travel miles (+50) cos i keep finding nasty old bandits at the end of my journy..

I guess I am hoping that someone out there knows someone who selling theres or something like that! I f you do, tip me off!

Last thing.. Is this the best bike to get? tall man wanting a naked bike. In Peoples experience are bandits for 1500-2000 just nails and have been raced and not well looked after?

Cheers
Thanks for your time

Hi

The Bandit is not a bad bike. Yes there are better bikes but the Bandits are cheap. The problem is that they are not that well finished, and are also often owned as first bikes so people learn how to maintain a bike on them.

You should be able to find one for around £2000 in good condition, but it will take quite a while.

Only thing to say really is keep looking.

All the best

Keith

Hi

The 600 Fazer is a better bike, but more expensive (and the Hornet even more so). The 500 twins are not bad, such as a GPZ500, CB500, GS500 or ER5. Yamaha Diversion is OK, but a bit boring.

All the best

Keith
