So After seizing the engine on my 1979 CG at the weekend, I took the motor apart to discover that oil had not been getting to the Gudgeon pin, therefore seizing it with the Piston and Con Rod.

So I've just bought a Piston and Barrel kit and new Con Rod with Bearings from a place down in Yeovil and will set about fitting them on Friday.

In the mean time I'm going to de-coke the head and hammerite the frame and stand. I'll hopefully have time to check out the wiring too and see why the indicators won't flash when the Brake light is on. Possibly just an earthing issue (hopefully).

The bike was pretty clean before thanks to it's previous owner (pepperami), but it'll be somewhere near immaculate by the time I'm done.
