I've bought a pair of led indicators from ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290624702860?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (it was 12.99). Cause the end part attachment was a different one from the one I had, I cut the old wires, cut the new ones, tight them together clean and nice and put them on the bike. They worked, fine. flashing faster (I don't care) but they worked... until the right ones (front and back) stopped working and the hazard light too. I've changed all the fuses but still the same. Tomorrow I will try to plug the right indicators into the left side. My theory is that if I turn the left button on and the right ones works then the indicators are fine and should be something else. DO you think is a way to go? If they don't then must be something else.. but what? I was reading about something called flasher relay. could be that? I'm new to this so you will excuse my ignorance. thank you

Led indicators use less power than bulbs which is why they are flashing faster and perhaps led to you burning out one set.

If they are flashing too fast that's illegal and an mot failure.

You can either buy resistors to lower their draw or replace your indicator relay with one designed for leds. There are plenty of either on Ebay.

I've got a fz6 2005. cause I've already cut and rewired the cables nicely I'd rather go for a relay. Could anyone tell me which is the right one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-3-Pin-LED-FLASHER-RELAY-LED-FLASH-RATE-FIX-/360288317139?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item53e2db6ed3 or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-FLASHER-FLASH-RELAY-UNIT-LED-BULBS-Dual-Load-/400225499951?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5d2f4c7b2f or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Turn-Signal-Flash-Rate-Relay-CB600F-HORNET-CB-900-/200642769089?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2eb73db0c1

I manage to fix the indicators. It was the connected wires on the front right ones. I reconnected them again and it worked. now they are just flashing faster so I supposed the only thing needed is a relay. If someone could advise me on which one for my fz6 I would appreciate. thanks.

If you've gone from standard indicators to LED, I think you need a resistor, not a new relay.

Edit: like this, but I can't guarantee these are the correct ones: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-Pair-Universal-Fit-In-Line-Resistors-Motorcycle-LED-Indicators-/400280141181?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5d328e3d7d#ht_1278wt_1192

Nope, go for the relay. Resistors create heat and waste power.
I have no idea if you have a two or three wire relay at the moment but I have brought several of these FLASHERS without problem.

Basically you need an electronic one, not mechanical.

expect to pay £8-£20 for one from the UK.
