I know it was cheap, but thats one of the most revolting 80's colour schemes I have ever seen. It makes the purple/orange ZZR look positivly delicious.

No. It's positively tasteful. CBRs came in WAY worse colourts than that.

Top one actually looks quite awesome in a retro cool kinda way!! Im pretty certain I used to have a shellsuit very much like it when I was about 11..

Yeah the jellymould CBR's are about as cool as shell-suits today but back in their day they were the bike to have.

I'm surprised how much lighter this bike is than my Bandit even with it's steel frame. The newest bikes must feel like a 125 by now.

Not sure on the weight but they do feel really light. I looked at one for a track bike and couldnt believe how small and light it felt - kinda felt like a 400 size compared to my other bikes.
