Just got this in an email;

https://www.memorybits.co.uk/shop/gadgets-usb-gadgets/swann-thumbcam-mini-digital-video-camera-dvr415/22798

Looks alright, wanted to have some sort of camera on my bike for the commutes, just incase.

Any thoughts?

Rather expensive, lots on Ebay for £6-£8 from China or about £10 from a UK dealer.

As for the camera itself; remarkably good for a tenner but can be a bit difficult to set up due to lack of viewfinder.

Tip: the original camera these are modelled on was called the MD80, try Googling this.

as said above, you can get them for about a fiver on ebay. the picture quality is ok for the price. which means it's quite shitty.

Just another MD80 clone. You'll want a bigger card than the 2GB one provided. Note that the reset pinhole is blanked off, as was mine, which is pretty annoying.

If it's one with the Sunplus chipset it'll be good. I recorded this the other day on mine (ignore the timestamp as I couldn't be bothered to set the time). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFv3Eb2YC2M
