...was very busy. I didn't mean to go, I was only out scrubbing in new tyres, but did about 70 motorway miles, then some gentle twisty bimbling round the Lincolnshire Wolds, and just kinda ended up there. Weather was good, new tyres and service have made the Hornet feel like a new bike, and the ride home, with tyres nicely scrubbed was...spirited. There were some lovely bikes there:

As I rode home I passed three groups of about 20 bikes each who were probably on there way there. Nice to share the same air as you, even if we weren't introduced. And yes, I can see your bike! My Hornet's behind the blue Rizla Gixxer.

No worries, and yeah, by the look of the map we look like neighbours. I probably rode past your way on the M180 at lunchtime...

Yeah, probably. I went though Crowle and Scunthorpe though rather than the motorway.

Good job I did as my visor bust on the way there and I had to stop at a garage and blag some gaffe tape. Wouldn't have fancied that on the motorway.

I went all the way to Immingham, then came back to the M180 and did Barnetby > Caistor > Market Rasen. Some awesome views between Barnetby and Caistor, really stunning, never been that way before. It's nice just wandering off and getting lost-ish...

I'm pretty close to willy woods, about 20 miles. Go there most wednesdays and sundays. Didn't make it today as was tinkering with the bike.
