I can't think of anyone who does short term breakdown cover.
If you can afford to pay for a recovery up front, then Auto Aid is £38 a year. They'll arrange recovery, you pay for it (e.g. on a credit card), then claim the money back from them later.
They seem to think that the policy doesn't cover motorcycles under 150cc, but there's no such limitation in the actual policy document which forms the basis of the contract, and remember that you'll be arguing the toss from the comfort of your sofa rather than at the side of the road. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
