Question:

Is it an MOT failure if this part is not grippy enough?

I have my MOT soon and my foot rest rubbers are very smooth (they were once grooved but have been worn away).

I know that it is an MOT failure on a car if your pedals rubbers have worn away so I assume this would be the same for bikes, however I have seen foot rests without rubber on them, so dont know know if it would be a failure or not.

Gazz, wouldn't have thought so as loads of bikes have metal pegs.
