if i buy a bike off biketrader that is say, 300 miles away and I have no way to get it home, is there a business that deals with collecting and delivering bikes? how much would it cost if they exist? thanks!

Try yellow pages for recovery firms. They generally charge about £1.50 a mile though.

As Steve pointed out there is currently a thread about this, the link is in his post. But then as pointed out you could try the phone books, and online sites.

Again i will mention about the trust in the company not to damage the bike, sure it may be insured but it cant be a pain to get it sorted.

You could hire yourself a van, or get someone with a full licence to do so.

Hi,

I would personally look for another bike, closer to home.

Take it you haven't been to view the bike if it's that far away?

Or, pass your test first and look again.

I just feel it's an awful long way to go to view a bike, and sounds like you're gonna have hassle (or it'll cost a fortune) to get the thing home.

Just my opinion, but think about it.

thanks Smile im gonna buy a cg125 soon, what do i look for on it? how will i know if its decent condition? i really dont have a clue about bikes...
