Tip, get rid of those valve caps, some of those were on my ZXR when I bought it and I had to pay for a new valve to be fitted when the one on the front wheel managed to literally weld its self to the valve. Although as a plus nobody could steal it.

Oh yes. Indeed it is! Its irritating because it's a 4-stoke it can have decent aftermarket cans on it, even though the can kind of dwarfs the rear tyre! Yet us people with nsr's who want cans like that on cant!!!

I mostly put pics and updates on my website, www.r6-yzf.co.uk and every now and then I post them on here too.

Soon to be working on a new gallery for my site so I and others can upload pictures to it etc.

Just to second Shaun's point about the valve caps, if they're anodized them either use some anti-seizing stuff on them or bin them! I had one weld to my rear and had to get a new valve put on.

I've had the same valves on mine for 14,000km without a problem. If you check the tyre pressures often there wont be a problem.

I always had them on my ZXR only problem I had is the inner dust seal was in sideways to start with which let my front tyre down completely Confused But once the dust seal was put in properly I never had any trouble at all. If you remove them every now and then to check tyre pressures you should be fine, think next time I check pressures I might stick some copper grease on them though.

My bike was bought with them on and the rear was a bit hard to remove the first time. I put a bit of copaslip on and havent had a problem since.
