Difficulty getting it started

Hello again not much progress on my GPZ 600 at the moment also short of funds good to see you got yours fired up quicktune been trying to get mine to start but no luck any advice welcome
Checked I am getting a spark and that seemed ok plug against the engine case and turned it over.

Boosted battery with my car booster starter to get a good cranking speed again seems ok

Sorted the neutral switch so neutral light now comes on.

Tried putting petrol straight into the carbs with the vacuum blanked off.

Tried spraying easy start into the carbs

All with no success a tiny bit of popping and a backfire through the carbs but no real attempt to start.

Connected up the side stand switch if this is not correct what symptom will that give

Will bump starting it give me a better chance
I realy want to at least get the engine running before spending too much money as I dont realy know the history of the bike.

On another matter the front brake hoses I got with the bike dont seem like the right ones anybody any idea what they are off or if I can make them fit.Trying to put a photo on but not sure how
any advice welcome
