My past 2 jackets and my current jacket fit me perfectly but i can never fasten them at the top Confused

Does anyone else have this problem ? im quite sure i have a normal sized neck!

Maybe they are just too cheap?

I find it really uncomfortable to do my jacket all the way up when i have my neck tube on. Although its fine without it.

I would say your neck is less normal than you think.

I have a similar issue due to playing rugby where the continual weekly whiplash gradually makes your neck wider than your head Laughing

My HG textile jacket fitted me perfect, with the exception of the neck not doing up. This was a few years ago when I was 20 stone. Then I spent 4 months in hospital and came out weighing 11 stone, the jacket swamped me but the neck did up.

I've now settled at around 16 stone and the jacket is a nice comfortable fit again, but the bloody neck wont do up. Thinking of making up a double sided Velcro strap to solve the problem Wink

All of my jackets are slightly tight around my manly neck, just get your wife/girlfriend/mother/pimp to bust out the velcro and sew up a solution.

I have 3 or 4 textile jackets, and rarely if ever use the velcro fastening on the neck. I tend to fold the top velcro pad back on itself and tuck it out of the way.
I then use a neck tube if, or when the weather gets cold enough to justify it.

Have to say though, that I tend not to feel the cold as much as most people (apparently), so I rarely use the neck tube either Wink
