Had a mechanic look at it, he got it up on a paddock and spun the wheel and found that the disc is slightly warped/kinked in one spot and its knocking on the pad, you can see the metal strip bit on the back of the calliper move... He says this is fine and isnt dangerous so we left it at that, also i get a whirring sound when using the front brake but think its not noticable all of the time, the break pads look good with plenty of meat on them.
What are my best options? leave it as be or get a new disc? are these easy to fit?

I would get a new disc, as the warping will only get worse through use. Buy new pads with the disc too.

Yeah probably best to, money is very tight which is the problem, the brakes work superbly and there is no judder which is a sign of warpage... perhaps i need to browse fleebay.
