A group of us are planning to go to the MotoGP at Silverstone ... and I havent been there for years (like 20+) / been to a race for ages.

Anyone on here got experience of attending Silverstone / MotoGP ?

Best stand ?
Location ?
Bike or Car ? (we are planning on going by bike, unless there is a very good reason not to).

Local places to stay / B&B ? (we are hoping to go up for the full 3 days)

Thanks in advance for any good tips / hints etc.
Silky

No idea about accomadation but referance were to be on track it depends what you want to see. I like cornering then hand full of throttle so for me Luffield/Woodcote is a great place. You also get some heavy braking and in some occasions maybe an accident Sad

Hope this m ight help for track referances btw mate. Track has changed since you last went if you've not been for a while.

Driving is a nightmare, getting in and out. Whittlebury Hall is nice, but probably horrendously expensive.

Only ever been on a hospitality ticket, so never messed with the cattle class stands / services! Wink
