Regardless of everything, everyone's positive my poor zxr 400 is a write off, should I use the money I rightly deserve, however much to buy a new bike, or get my SRAD on the road??? Only insurance wud bend me backwards

Buy a bike thats not been messed with.

Literally, buy a nice low mileage bike, have a look round etc.

Go for a proper look at it, check for any issues that your current bikes have had and see what you can find Thumbs Up

Paddy, dont have money for a bike with low milage, not got 2k + unfortuneately, not inc insurance :/

as for the ZXR, when its declared a write off, they will take the bike off me, and there will be little chance of getting it back :/ so I wont own her anymore, will see what happens though

n keep you lot posted

You can buy a write-off back form the salvager at a much reduced price.

Ask about the option to "buy it back"

Not really sure I want to tbh :/
Rather depressed, maybe im just being stubborn
but as you know, since Iv had the bike, it hasnt wanted to work really :/
Just paid £126 for a new gold chain and sprocket set on it, H model rad (managed to fit it) which works fine
Carbs needed balancing out still, either that or an air leak from the air box :/

Don't be a tit.

They'll write it off, buy back and sell it. Gets you more money.

If you've done any injuries, even a sore stiff neck you'll get 2k damages.

Write off value of your bike, estimate £1200.

So around 3k, buy bike back for 250-300 and sell on/break for parts, make money back easy.
2.5k to get a bike, can find some decent bikes for that money.

Also special damages, having to bus everywhere, charge them that too.

If I got £5k for breaking my thumb and writing of a 93 GS500 that was valued at £795 you'll be fine Laughing

I got my written off bike back last week. They gave me £950 for it (Cat. C) and charged £240 for me to buy back. Cost me an MOT to clear the Cat C. and it's back on the road and £700 in pocket. Thumbs Up
See what they offer, but you'll make more buying back.

Know he cant be "trusted" but the guy who took the bike away didnt seem hopeful about my lil ZXR :/ dont think Buy Back will be an option because of the frame indent Sad

I smashed my RR-W to fuck, and caused just over £8K (apparently) in damage.

They still asked if I'd like to buy it back.
