Looked at the Givi Monorack arms and the Renntec racks available, is the SW Motech worth looking at?

Has anyone got any experience with any of these systems that can offer some advice?

Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you want the rack for?

Topbox or just a rack to strap stuff too...

There was a Renntec luggage rack already fitted to the Bandit by the previous owner when I bought it. And I fitted a Givi top box to make the daily riding a little more practical.

All seems to be very sturdy, strong, and very useful. All I can say is to try to be careful not to overload the top box with too much weight. I managed to do this and caused damage to the "boss" socket resulting in not being able to use the rack until I got the boss re-welded Rolling Eyes

For a topbox, planning on touring this summer and a lockable box appeals

Givi Wingrack, then you have the option of fitting some side panniers as well for touring, shopping etc. theres normaly one or two on ebay although you may need to get the bike specific kit if it didnt come off a divvy.

Doesn't appear to be one for the divvy sadly

I was going to buy a renntec rack for the cb, so I could put a top box on, but renntec say they're only for soft luggage unless otherwise stated and no more than 5kg.

It's more than likely just a legal disclaimer rather than a fact, but to buy the rack and a topbox would have cost me over £100, so not worth risking imo.

I've heard some people say they've had topboxes on their's without any problems, but others say they had to have it re-welded or even had their racks snap off whilst riding.

I don't really need a topbox anyway for just going to work.
I just had to start using my rucksack again and the cb has a surprising amount of under seat storage. Smile

See here for new & complete with indicators
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Givi-N140-Wingrack-2-Pannier-Holders-and-Rack-Includes-Indicators-Motorcycle-/200750158962?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2ebda45472

Or here for a choice
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=givi+wingrack&_sacat=0

Or here for one at £20
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Givi-Wingrack-2-Monokey-System-/270991204011?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3f18559eab

You can always get the specific fitting kit for your bike from givi if you need it, when I bought one for a divvy it just bolted straight on.

Does a generic kit work? Can't see a specific one for the divvy. Thanks for your help so far
