Bloody puncture, first one in my two and a half years of biking... I literally need to go three miles on it.

The recovery said they could plug it for me but said you can't ride on it for long - it's just to get you to a garage, so I thought forget doing that, especially seeing as it's not my bike, not putting a new tyre on it! Or paying for the plug.

Now... reckon chewing gum would work briefly? It worked on my airbed once...

£15... too rich for my blood!

Bloody annoying wish I could just take the GPZ out. Hell even the TZR. Bloody insurance is a pain.

Can of that puncture repair foam, couple of quid, works a treat so long as the hole isn't huge.

Why don't you phone the owner of the bike and tell him he's got a bloody puncture?

+1 for a screw but I was going to have the tyres replaced anyway so wasn't really arsed as long as it got me to the tyre place.

Had a mobile repair service at the house to repair a 3 week old rear Dunlop Qualifier on the Bandit a few months ago.
Think it was £30 for the permanent repair. The guy arrived within 2 hours of calling him, and the bike has since flown thru the MOT, so no probs Thumbs Up

They always say that.... its a cover your arse time....

Many people ride pluged tyres for a long time.... Given that its not you bike, then it could be the cheapest option. That foam often does not work with larger holes.

REMA tubeless kit @ £17 odd is a good piece of kit to keep on you at all times when riding if you have tubeless tyres, IMO

if you only need to go 3 miles and you take it easy insert a self taping screw coated in rubber solution, I knew a courier that fixed his punctures like this but only road around town!
