I went to Skeggy yesterday on my old xj600 enjoyed the ride over,I went to have a look at a Fazer, and wow she didn't half look good. The garage let me take her for a test ride.As soon as I sat on her there was an Immediate WOW.Even just sitting on it,it felt like another world was openning up.Put it into 1st and started topull away and stalled the bugger Embarassed So restarted and got going,I was immediately impressed by how smooth and progressive the excelleration was.
So I don't turn this into a Tef message.I'll just say how easy it was to get used to the clutch control and had a very enjoyable test ride.
Not sure why it has BT 21 on the front and BT 20 on the rear but it certainly was a confidence inspiring mixture,i'd never taken corners as fast.
So I came home with a nice big smile on my face with this now as my property.

BT020 being fazed out, have to use BT021 to replace

start saving for your SS downpipes

fit a smaller front sprocket

mine runs old qualifiers

Fazer thou rear caliper is a near straight fit when the 600 one seizes, and it will seize.

Down pipes have already been changed mate.By previous owner.
Why smaller front sprocket?

because it will accelerate a bit quicker, and pick up quicker when rolling on the throttle in top gear, and it won't change the speedo reading as its still driven from the front wheel

Indeed, mine did.

Enjoy it, anyway. I had an 02 foxeye and I loved it. Only got rid of it because a mate was selling a VFR. When I got rid of that I went back to a Fazer (but this one is an FZ1 Mr. Green )
