We've always used TomTom ones for cars, so I can recommend them very highly as we use them a lot. Not sure how they compare to others but I've heard they compare quite well. I know my TomTom can on a bike if in a cover.

Asking such a generalising question, is like telling us she likes sex, but not sure what kind.

As for the satnav:
specifically what features do you want it for?
how do you want to mount it on the bike?
what interface for audio does she need?
How will you power it on the bike?
Whats the budget for such a device ££?

Give the masses as much info as possible, and maybe they can narrow the search down for you

I recently purchased a top of the range Bon Jovi satnav but I had to return it as it was faulty.
It kept saying we were half way there.....

what about the satnav that guides you off the edge of a cliff, then as your falling to your death, the voice states "recalculating ......... please drive to highlighted route".............or "please make a U turn"
