Is it a mot fail if the lever has no ball on the end? I cut mine off because it touched my bar mirror. The lever is standard so it's still very long. just has no ball on the end of it.

As long as the brake can be easily applied it should be fine, and as you are only talking about the bar end...

As the man said you'd have to get a tosser of an MOT tester who had that mmorning discovered his wife was having an affair with someone who reminded him of you...

+1 to this, this is what I had to do with my old Hyosung as the replacement lever didn't arrive before the MOT was due.
