brake lever fail? No ball end....

Is it a mot fail if the lever has no ball on the end? I cut mine off because it touched my bar mirror. The lever is standard so it's still very long. just has no ball on the end of it.

Down to the judgement of the inspector, it would appear. But you'd be unlucky to find one that failed you, going by the above link.

As long as the brake can be easily applied it should be fine, and as you are only talking about the bar end...

As the man said you'd have to get a tosser of an MOT tester who had that mmorning discovered his wife was having an affair with someone who reminded him of you...

+1 to this, this is what I had to do with my old Hyosung as the replacement lever didn't arrive before the MOT was due.
