Hello folks.

Been racing bikes for 12 yrs (mx, moved to enduro), been doing british championship for the last 4 yrs but at the grand age of 36 I've decided to knock it on the head. Passed my test in 2005 but only ever ridden on the road to get between checks during enduros.

My mate convinced me to get a road bike for a bit of a laugh so I've bought a 99 (G2) Ninja 600. It's not perfect but I didn't pay the earth for it.

Just waiting to get out on it now, this shoite weather is not doing us any favours!!!

Welcome to the forum. It's a sad fact of life that many, including me, will spend more time on here than on the bike when it's not dry out.

It comes with not needing to use the bike and only having it for pleasure.

Initially Yamahas but the last 2 years I've been on KTM.

250F last year and 250 2T this year.

really like the KTM 250 SX, wasn't so impressed with the 4 stroke, seemed to be a bit 'soft' if you know what i mean.

I was going ok on the 250F but my game has improved this year since I got on the 2T - it's a great bike.

The SX is a real animal, huge power hit - try a thicker base gasket in order to prevent your arms popping out the sockets!!
