a new headlight will fix my bike?

I need a rectangle headlight for my CG, but its talking about all random measurements... so what should i measure up so i buy the right one? (its off eBay and they dont have a returns policy - hence the post)

Why not just buy a square honda CG headlight and fit it? It's really not rocket science to make up a bracket and extend the wires to make it work.

The headlight case for my cg broke two weeks ago and was cheaper to buy the whole set.. best looking for a person breaking a cg and ask if they have one. Or just getting the set most of them are the same size anyway.
