Just rode from my home town to High Wycombe. Yeah it was pissing it down at first but I could enjoy the ride a bit.

Half way on the M40 it starts hailing like an actual bitch. Fcuking unbelievable. It was so heavy there was literally a layer of hail on the road, solid. My back wheel locked up several times filtering down Marlow hill, for those that know Marlow hill you'll know how much of a butt clincher that must of been.

Absolutly soaked through. The hail on my textiles solidified together to become ice. It wasn't even that cold, just so wet.

Not to mention the about of cnuts who can't fcuking be in the right lane. Seriously, it really isn't difficult. Rolling Eyes

Now that I'm back, hail has stopped, and sunshine has resumed. Got to be kidding me.

Rant over.

My amour.

Mates pic of the hail on Facebook.

The picture doesn't do it justice, it was much, much worse.

Shit man, Fuck that on Marlow hill, especially towards the bottom with the roundabouts and stuff! Know plenty of the local MAG group who've had incidents on that roundabout.

Its just bucketed here too (portsmouth) and its forecast to be this random for the next 5 days (as far as the forecast will go), can't wait till this shit stops

I'm down in Bexhill and it's been sunny today. I know marlow hill though, can't imagine that would have been any fun in that.

Top marks for staying on though Thumbs Up

Ha, to be fair my kit was brilliant. Jacket's coming up to be four years old now. Still water proof.

It's wet out there but the rain is well overdue, if you look in streams and ponds and rivers the levels are extremely low.

It was wet here in Mid Essex too - started out sunny, so I was like 'great, time to fettle!'. As i'm getting stuff together thunder and lightening and rain come along, so I decided to fix my laptop instead. Did use the hosepipe today though because I know no fear - plus I needed to rinse away the crap that was blocking the waste water drain.

As it's stopped, I'm fettling in the shed now - the fumes are a bit strong though!

Now that The UK is officially in drought, I wonder if the people of Africa will be willing to donate £2 a month to help us out?

Surely this is an example of Englands madness? The clouds were huge, but it'd piss down for a few minutes, then it'd be bright sunshine... :S

Yeah. I got caught in rain several times.

Got home from town soaked. My armoured trousers had failed -somehow-, got no idea as there's a plastic waterproof lining on the inside...
Then had to go out again. Stuck the gloves in the oven to dry out for a few minutes then headed off out into sunshine. 15 minutes later it was hailing and raining like an ass. Soaked again.

Would still rather be on a bike than in a cage; but still.

Jacket and trousers almost dried. Hanging in the shower.

Gloves over the side of the bath still wet as fcuk.

Should buy some waterproof ones. I use leather ones all year round. Laughing

BANNED!

However, once you've cleared that "artificial outdoor surface", sticking the hosepipe down the drain and turning on the tap is just fine. Thumbs Up

Short periods of high intensity rain result in less water than more regular low intensity rain showers. So just because it hammers it down for half an hour doesn't mean our resevoirs will be replenished after 2 months of no rain for example. If more infrastructure was in place this would help solve the problem, but then who wants to invest money when they can pocket it?

Oh and I should mention that I am a climate change and global warming skeptic, not some eco-fascist Thumbs Up

Maybe they should invest in decent water pipes rather than them keep bursting, losing tens of thousands, probably millions across the country, then tell us not to use water, ban hosepipe useage, and not fix any leaks....

As for the textile jacket n trousers if you have the money hein gericke summit jkt n trousers,if not spada highland I rode 250 miles in rain at 90mph and it was fine and best of all £60 at bmf also warm as hell
