So after becoming very bored with my job working at the Fixed Penalty Office (speeding ticket processing to you and I...) also it was kind of wrong, being a biker and all...

Saw a job advertised at Pizza Hut driving the mopeds ha ha. Applied for it and have been doing it for the last two days. Most people ask me why I would quit an office job to work for Pizza Hut... I guess people make a judgment against fast food chain workers, although it actually pays the same as what I was on, and it's a lot more enjoyable. (I remember the first day on the last job I was thinking it was shit straight away, whereas this is actually quite alright).

Anybody else done this job before? Ha ha they made me take a "day 2" even though I have a full licence. I kind of want to stick tape over the Ls on the bike though...

Nearly flipped the moped on my first day going over a speed hump...

I did it for 2 weeks at dominos in my youth before I got a 'proper' job. When I saw a colleague return to the shop with a towel wrapped round his head and blood pouring down his face I thought it wasn't worth it.

He'd been jumped goin from his car to the job, most likely a hoaxed job to lure him out as it seemed to coincedental to be random. We'd only have a fiver in 'float' cash on us at anytime. Oh they got he pizza too..

Stay safe out there.

Aye, I deliver to all the proper dodgy areas of Leeds haha.

In two days I've already had some little shits shouting shit at me. Doesn't really bother me to be fair though. Sticks and stones and all that.

Stick and stones maybe not, how about a brick, that's wht he was beaten with.

Just saying, my place nowhere near as rough as Leeds.

If I absolutely had to drive/ride for a living I think I'd rather do taxi or home delivery..

Good luck

I was actually wondering this myself. Wouldn't want to bring it up though as the L on the back is actually printed onto the box haha. Might end up with me being let go! Razz

Nope it's not illegal. It's a "should not" rather than a "must not" in the highway code.

The evidence suggests otherwise. I worked as assistant manager for a pizza shop in Leeds for years whilst studying, never had even a hint of any of our drivers being attacked or threatened.

The big chain employee riders are treated worse than independant riders. Tipped less i would imagine.

Having a forced uniform and being on shit peugeots does not help...

Ah they don't force the uniform on me. I use their jacket because it's actually quite nice Smile I wear jeans with it and my own helmet.

I know a guy who does this job in my town, his other bike is a fireblade and I swear he rides pizza moped like he stole it, but seems like a fun job tho.

I find it more fun than sat in an office listening to a load of inane chatter.

Squawking middle-aged women and wannabe hard-nut Casanovas.
