GZ125 K2 Marauder. Replace Fork Seals, Cost?

Evening all,

My bike is due an mot this saturday and I have a really nasty feeling it will fail on account of the fork seals. There is a small amount of residue above both forks and they seem a little cushy, although they still perform fine on the road and don't dip under braking. Would this small leak warrant a fail?

And if so, how much approx will it cost to get the mechanic to replace them? I would do them myself but to be honest I'm new to maintaining bikes, until two months ago I didn't know how to change the oil So I really don't trust myself with anything other than minor work...yet
