Hi all,

I'm after a bag of the above. I worked out they are M4 x 12mm, but I'm unsure of the thread pitch. My local motorbike parts place want over a quid each!

Any idea's?

Thanks
FJ

They are standard M4 x 0.7, which is what they are if they just say M4 you won't find any other pitch readily available.
You can get a bag of 50 stainless countersunk M4 10mm for £2 from Screwfix which will be ideal.

If they are countersunk screws put a smear of coppaslip on the threads and in the top cap before putting the new screws in place. This will ensure that they do not seize in the future.

Went to screw fix yesterday, they had none in stock and she said it didn't look like they'd be stocked again..I found some on eGay for a good price.

I was tempted to get allen bolts rather than possidrive as they were black, but thought they might round off easier.

Thank again

Less chance of someone overtightening a cross head than an allen head.
