hi im cleaning up a honda cg for resale and and was wonder what was the best way to make the chrome all shiny and almost new again.

And also my front wheel seems to be quite stiff when rolling backwards. i think it could be the pads, but unsure as it rolls foward it rolls fine.

An old trick for chrome is rubbing it with a handful of tinfoil.
Or you could buy chrome cleaner (Yes there is such a thing).

Brakes sticking.
Buy some Brake Cleaner it helps dissolve baked-on brake dust. (They sometimes call it Break Cleaner on here though.) Remove the callipers and slosh the break cleaner around the pistons. Use a artists brush/small toothbrush to work the cleaner into the grime. Maybe need to scrape the stubborn stuff off with the end of the brush. Resist using a screwdriver as you risk puncturing the rubber gator around the piston (Which is just not cricket for the next owner.)
Hoi the calliper back on fit the pads with a little smear of copper-slip on the metal back. Pump the brake lever to set the pads on the discs again. And Robert is the bloke who is shaggin' yer aunty.
