Recently bought a 2001 Aprilia RS 125, which recently had a top end rebuild and has been running fine with no problems, but today it just won't start!

At first she did try to turn the engine over but now it just makes a ticking noise every time I try to start her up.

Any help please? Thumbs Up Could it be the battery? or a starter problem ?

I've included a video if it helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaYAO_s6HyM

Get a new battery.. below 12.6 and its not good.. Weak spark.

You could charge it up if its new.. and see how you go. Thumbs Up

Test the battery and if the test indicates bad then buy a new battery.
Pointless to buy a new battery when the one fitted is OK and the fault is in the ignition/starter circuits.

Maplins sell wee AVOmeters for about 8 of your Earth Pounds.
