Got my mini bikes MOT soon, needs a horn.

I have LOADS of 12v horns, but have been told I can get a 9V battery and power a 6v horn with that.

Question is could I get 2 9v batteries and power the 12v horn? Its purely for the MOT Thumbs Up

Ideally the MOT is Tuesday, bodge dependant Laughing

Does it have to be a horn?

You can get piezo sounders that are far louder and run at lower voltages

Hmmm... might work I guess. Where as 2 9V batteries are £2... I wouldn't mind knowing if this will work too... trying to do this as cheap as is possible

You can run them off a pair of AAs... which are like 50p for four of Tesco's value!
