Reckon this will last a track day at Rockingham before I replace it? Thinking about doing the one on Sunday 13th May if anyone's up for it? Very Happy

Did one at Mallory Park the other day and the track was covered in standing water in a lot of places and it didn't feel that bad at all!

The sides of it are fine but the middle of it is pretty bald from wheelies and attempting the odd one when the tires weren't warm enough or it was too wet and it has spun up.

I push them hard trust me Laughing always have no chicken strips either side unless the weather is shite for a while, think it's all the wheelies that have done it!

I am a genuine sausage. Laughing

Trying to make my track day budget stretch as far as possible so I can do as many as I am planning to!

Do you have any idea how long it would take to scrub in a fresh tyre on the track? Debating just leaving this one on here for the morning because it definitely has a few sessions in it still and then getting it changed over by someone at the track, probably going to cost a bomb getting it done at the track though I imagine. Sad

You can scrub a tyre in in a few laps, half a session would be more than enough.

Thanks. Thumbs Up Karma

Any idea on what someone at the track will charge to change my tyre? Can get it changed and balanced for about £15 at my local garage!
