This would have been ideally suited as a regional section thing but I dont want to request accesship into each.

So, this will do.

I'm thinking if clusters of geographically local BCF'ers see a serious road issue they can all report it locally at councils, but independently to get it fixed quicker.

I want to start off by pointing out the pot-holing on Wigginton Road by Nestle in York - major route and if we can maybe get pics we can keep track of how well each council sorts the issue. Plus enough of us complain about VED/Road TAX not going to good use. Wink

Crack on.

I saw that but its very broad, not too public.

I reckoned if 4 bcf members reported an issue on a road in a week, say in Oxford its more likely to be fixed than 2 reports in a month on fix-my-street.

I've reported several to my local council, and they always come out and check, and usually fill them Thumbs Up

I have also reported loose gravel at a junction, telling them I skidded on it (I did) and they came and swept it up Thumbs Up

That's North Somerset and BANES councils.

There's a useful iPhone app for that too, which allows you to snap a photo of the hole, location tag it, and describe the hazard before it gets uploaded. Really handy (read: boring) for when you're out and about.
