I have an interest in this......sort of? ................ Can you not get power commanders re-programmed?.
And if this is the case, who`s got a good reputation for doing it?.

Yes you can, and most dyno places will do it.

Good work! I paid £110 for one and a steering damper delivered to the UK!

everythings a little cheaper

K&N air filter, EBC HH pads all around £10-£20 less than in the UK.

Im going out there for 2 weeks in May, so might aswell pick up all the stuff there and bring it back in luggage.

One thing does worry me though, a PCIII is a box with loads of wires sticking out.

I think we all know what this may look like on a X-ray scanner, and we also know what the yank are like Sad

I used to go out to the US - mainly NYC and Florida with work on a fairly regular basis.

I brought quite a few bits back, a few of which looked dodgy when packed. Nearly every time I came back, I'd get a TSA (Travel Security Alliance I think) note in my case saying they'd searched it because it was flagged.

I once got quizzed at gatwick, but I wasn't feeling well and was sweating, hadn't shaved, and two people in front of me were dawdling slowly so I went around them quite quickly, that might have flagged me up lol Laughing

All the stuff was still in there though, they just left me 'weve had a look' notes.
