Just coming to my friends house and all traffic on Holloway Rd (North London) has been diverted as a biker was hit off their bike Sad

Looked quite serious, as I drove past they was in a stretcher on the ground with the neck brace and all - loads of paramedics and a few police.

Someone on twitter said it was a girl as well.

Not sure if anyone knows her/him? But either way hope they get well soon!

One time, I was watching news footage of it kicking off in Israel, and this girl was being stretchered into an ambulance. She was smoking hot, and not just from the bomb, and I got a bit of a rager on.

Sorry, very rude of me, you were saying something about guardian angel kittens?

Why do people feel the need to post about every bike accident they see/hear about?

I have no idea, its all a bit morbid because you can bet that most people who do the oh no rip etc bit forget about it five minutes after theyve posted, save it for someone you know in my opinion.

Then again you do not neck brace a stiff before deep sixing it so it could live to gobble another day. Crashing is not nice but why bother posting " I saw a crash, RIP Sad ", we all crash and most times we live, get over it.

This always happens. I get back on the bike today after ten days of dodgy back, and karma takes someone else off the road. Judging from the neck brace, it was probably a flying throat punch from a passing inverted welder. The cunt.

<tangent> I was riding behind another biker who was smoking the other day - he had his front flipped up and was taking lugs at each set of lights coming into London.
If he crashed that should be a 50/50 split for smoking and biking. </tangent>

Dunno, think it's more of a respect thing.
It's kinda nice that bikers see another biker down and feel bad for them and feel the need to tell others whereas cagers don't give to fucks.

But I can also see the image it gives about biking being dangerous, publicising bike accidents, when so many accidents of equal proportion happen every day.

I see in all directions Wink

Wet roads ladies, careful now.

(Although a Paint diagram showing where you didn't crash would also be useful)
