Well £15 for MOD1 and £75 for MOD2 means you've only got another £110 of bike hire/lessons before you've reached £500 total.
I think it'll be tough unless you've got both booked tomorrow?

£500!! !!
wow thats maybe not as crazy as i thought, a quick google says places around me are about £550 ish.
It sounds like me and you are at about the same spot with the test.
I had my Mod 1 booked for this morning, but when i turned up it was chucking it down and i parked over a little river in the gutter so the tiny, tiny oil leak my bikes got looked massive and i had to cancel it .
But before going to the test i was a bit worried about not having had any lessons and the only practice i had for module 1 being messing about in a car park, and to be honest when i got there and watched some people doing mod 1, it seems like a bit of a rip off to be paying that money.
If you've already paid, great, but if you've not put anything down yet, I would just spend as much time as you can in a empty car park to be 100% confident on each manouvre, then go book it yourself. going to the test centre and watching some other people do mod 1 helps a lot too.
Its worked for me very well, i'm 100% sure that i can do each part of mod 1, and all it cost me was a few weird looks as i went round in circles in a car park and what will probably be £30 booking fees.
And mod 2 just do all your safety checks and lifesavers and enjoy a ride out with some wierd bloke following you about
EDIT: oops, i assumed you've got your own 125 you're riding about on L-plates. £500 is a good price and whatever you do doesnt really matter as longas you're riding at the end of it ____________________ NSR 125 |
